What is MOXI?
MOXI is a revolutionary laser from Sciton to help improve the appearance of sun damage and signs of aging. Due to the minimal downtime needed and the gentleness of the technology, it’s an ideal treatment for regular skin maintenance to keep your skin looking flawless. MOXI is a gentle, nonablative fractional laser treatment that is safe for all skin types, year-round.
Why do I need MOXI?
MOXI is a great way to give your skin a gentle polish in between your yearly HALO treatments. MOXI is much more gentle on the skin, using a more superficial wavelength to target pigment, texture & tone.
Immediate Aftercare
For the day following your treatment, your skin may appear red and you may see small dots called Mendz where the laser was applied. Because this is a non-ablative fractionated treatment, the post-care regimen is simple. Wear a moisturizing physical sunscreen and stay out of the sun. You may wear make-up 24 hours after your treatment.
Healing Process (Days 3-5)
Between days 3-5, the Mendz will slough/fall off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.
Extended Healing for Neck & Chest
The neck and chest areas may take a few extra days to heal.
How often should I do a MOXI treatment?
During your consultation, a laser technician in our medspa will typically recommend 3-6 Moxi treatments based on your unique skin concerns. Maintenance is always recommended to maintain your results.
Our HALO patients may only need 2 MOXI per year that can be done any time of year. Our current HALO patients pay a special maintenance price.
