Who is a Good Candidate for a NanoLaser Peel?
Most patients who have common skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, rough texture, dullness, scarring, hyperpigmentation, or sun damage are good candidates for the NanoLaser peel. Preparation
Before your NanoLaser Peel begins, your laser technician will thoroughly cleanse your skin and offer you protective eyewear.
Laser Application
The laser technician will then direct the laser to the treatment area using the NanoLaser Peel handpiece. They will direct the laser throughout the treatment area for precise targeting of unwanted texture or pigmentation and reduced damage to healthy cells.
Comfort and Anesthesia
Most patients are comfortable throughout the treatment without requiring any anesthetic. Deeper settings may require some numbing cream or another type of local anesthetic. Your laser technician will explain what you can expect depending on the settings used to complete your NanoLaser Peel procedure.
Recovery and Results After NanoLaser Peel
A short recovery period is one of the primary benefits of the NanoLaser Peel. You will notice a “frosty” appearance immediately after the treatment due to the dehydrated skin cells, which will then begin to peel away. Peeling generally lasts just 2-3 days after treatment. Some mild redness or swelling are also normal. During this time, you will likely also feel some sensitivity in the treated area similar to a sunburn. Be sure to avoid sun exposure as much as possible.
